Document Data

HRAReceipt.in generates document PDFs — rent receipts, salary slips, GST invoices (pakka bill), payment receipts, and kaccha bills — entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Whatever fields the document needs (tenant / employee / payer names, GSTINs, PAN numbers, salary breakdowns, invoice line items, rent amounts, addresses) is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. The data exists only in your browser’s memory while you use the tool, and is discarded when you close the tab.

Payments

Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway. We receive a payment confirmation (payment ID) but never your card details, UPI ID, or banking credentials. We also do not receive or store any of your document content during the payment flow — the payment API only confirms the per-document amount (₹4–9 depending on document type, or ₹49 for the 12-receipt rent bundle, or the corporate plan price), nothing else.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for cookieless, anonymous page-view measurement. It tells us how many people visit each page and where traffic originates. No individual visitors are identified. No cookies are set. No personal data is collected or transmitted. No data is shared with advertising networks or across websites. Vercel is already listed as a sub-processor on our compliance page.

Cookies

We don’t use cookies. None. Zero.

Email Marketing

We don’t have your email, so we can’t email you. That’s the point.

All of it. We don’t have it.

Verify It Yourself (30 seconds)

Don’t take our word for it. You can confirm your data never leaves your browser in about half a minute:

1. Open any generator and fill in your details.
2. Press F12 to open your browser’s Developer Tools, then click the Network tab.
3. Filter by Fetch/XHR, then click "Get free draft" to generate your document.
4. Watch the requests: you will see zero requests to hrareceipt.in carrying your personal data.

If you choose to pay, the payment step (Razorpay) sends the amount or corp code alone — never your name, address, any financial details, or document content.
